Ferdi Elmas
Ferdi Elmas (born February 13, 1985 in Amsterdam, Netherlands) is a Turkey footballer playing for Turkish Super League club Galatasaray. He qualifies for both Netherlands and Turkey citizenship,his mother is Dutch and his father is Turkish. Formerly, he played for AFC Ajax for over nine years in his youth, having come through the ranks of the club's elite Youth Team. He continued his career in Netherlands football after transferring to RKC Waalwijk. In 2004 he moved to Çaykur Rizespor, before completing a loan switch to Ankaraspor. During the summer transfer window of 2008, the Istanbul giants Galatasaray signed the player on a 3-year deal, expiring in June 2011. The transfer was a player-swap, with Ugur Akdemir being the player who left the team.

He typically plays in the central midfield, however he has recently been playing on the left hand side for the Ankara club.
He was also called up to the Turkey national football team for the EURO 2008 Qualifiers.
