Panagiotis Lagos (born July 18 1985 in Thessaloniki) is a Greeks Football (soccer) player currently playing for Greece club AEK Athens FC.

Panagiotis Lagos (born July 18 1985 in Thessaloniki) is a Greeks Football (soccer) player currently playing for Greece club AEK Athens FC.
Club career
Iraklis Thessaloniki
Lagos started his professional football career with Iraklis F.C. in 2002. Having made 76 appearances for the club, he became one of the most important players in qualifying for Europe during the Alpha Ethniki 2005-06.
AEK Athens
Lagos caught the eye of Greek giants and fellow Super League Greece team AEK Athens F.C. and was transferred from Iraklis in 2006. In his first season at AEK Lagos started his career with AEK brightly before suffering a serious injury.
He returned to football half way through the Super League Greece 2007-08 after nearly a year absence, in the derby game against Panathinaikos.
International career
Lagos made his debut for the Greek national football team in 2006 in the game against Korea Republic national football team.
Because of his injury, Lagos has failed to continue his excellent club form to national team level.
He has as of February 2008, 9 caps.
