Edgar Barreto
Edgar Osvaldo Barreto Caceres (born July 15, 1984 in Asunción) is a Paraguayan football (soccer) player who, as of 2007, is playing for Reggina Calcio in the Italian Serie A.

Edgar Osvaldo Barreto Caceres (born July 15, 1984 in Asunción) is a Paraguayan football (soccer) player who, as of 2007, is playing for Reggina Calcio in the Italian Serie A.
He was part of the silver medal-winning Paraguayan 2004 Olympic football team, who achieved a quarter-final place with two victories in the qualifying round, and, having finished second in the league, beat South Korea in the quarter-finals, and Iraq in the semi-finals, before losing to Argentina in the final. He also capped for Paraguay U-20 at 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship.
He played for Paraguay in Copa América 2007.
He played an integral part in keeping Reggina in Seria A at the end of the 2007-2008 season, earning a reputation for scoring long range goals.
