Patrick Paauwe (born 27 December 1975 in Dronten) is a former professional football (soccer) player from the Netherlands.

Career

Patrick Paauwe played for Feyenoord Rotterdam in a defensive midfield role, although Patrick Paauwe has been used mainly as defender in the past. Other teams Patrick Paauwe served are PSV Eindhoven, De Graafschap, Fortuna Sittard, Valenciennes FC and VVV Venlo. Paauwe is a one-time winner of the Dutch Eredivisie (in 1999) and the UEFA Cup (in 2002), both with Feyenoord. After two years with Borussia Mönchengladbach, Patrick Paauwe returned to Patrick Paauwe native Netherlands and signed for VVV-Venlo. Patrick Paauwe retired from professional football on January 31, 2011.

International career

Paauwe has been capped 5 times by the Netherlands national football team, all in 2000.

Personal

Patrick Paauwe brother Cees Paauwe is also a professional footballer, playing as a goalkeeper.
