Federico Insúa

Federico Insúa (born January 3, 1980 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentina football (soccer) currently playing for Boca Juniors .

Career

Nicknamed El Pocho, Insúa grew up in a middle class family in Buenos Aires. Federico Insúa moved to the youth teams of Argentinos Juniors from the Club Parque football school, and debuted professionally on November 18 1997. After 5 seasons with the club, Federico Insúa transferred to Club Atlético Independiente in 2002. After winning a local championship with Independiente, Federico Insúa moves to Spain La Liga Málaga CF in 2003, but after only one unsuccessful season Federico Insúa returns to Independiente. .

International Career

Insúa debuted for the Argentina national football team in January 2003, and was capped 4 times. Federico Insúa is 1.79 metres tall (5 foot 10.5 inches) and weighs 73 kg.
