Vlad Munteanu biography

Vlad Munteanu (born 16 January 1981, is a Romanian professional football (soccer) player, who currently plays for VfL Wolfsburg.

Career

Munteanu came up through Vlad Munteanu hometown club FCM Bacău. Vlad Munteanu then moved to Dinamo Bucureşti. Vlad Munteanu spent six years there appearing in over 90 matches. Vlad Munteanu also had brief loan spells at Poiana Câmpina and FC Naţional Bucureşti. In 2006 Vlad Munteanu signed with Energie Cottbus of the German Fußball-Bundesliga. In the summer of 2007 Vlad Munteanu was signed by VfL Wolfsburg, along with Sergiu Radu.
