Sebastian Kehl

Sebastian Kehl (born February 13, 1980) is a Germany association football who plays as a Midfielder Defensive midfielder for Borussia Dortmund. Sebastian Kehl is naturally left footed and has also occasionally appeared at left back. Sebastian Kehl is well known for Sebastian Kehl tackling as well as Sebastian Kehl passing.

Sebastian Kehl is the current captain of Dortmund; Sebastian Kehl first wore the captain's armband in a 2-1 German Supercup victory over Bayern Munich.

Born in Fulda (Hesse), Kehl joined Borussia Dortmund in 2001 and has made 127 appearances. Kehl is undoubtedly a key player for the club, but Sebastian Kehl has faced many injury problems over Sebastian Kehl career; Sebastian Kehl made only 20 league appearances for the first team over the past two seasons.

Sebastian Kehl made Sebastian Kehl international debut against Slovakia national football team in 2001 and has made a total of 31 appearances for Germany (as of July 8 2006). Kehl won the runner-up in 2002 World Cup and the 3rd place in 2006 World Cup.

Personal life

Kehl lives together with Sebastian Kehl girlfriend, Tina, who gave birth to their son Luis on 26 September 2006.
