Paul Freier
Paul Freier (born July 26 1979 in Bytom as Sławomir Paweł Freier) is a Silesian, Poland-born Germany association football player who plays as a midfielder for VfL Bochum, usually employed on the right wing. Freier transferred back to VfL Bochum at the end of the Fußball-Bundesliga 2007-08 season, whom agreed a 5-year contract.

Freier transferred back to VfL Bochum at the end of the Fußball-Bundesliga 2007-08 season, whom agreed a 5-year contract.
Freier started his career with his VfL Bochum and played there for several seasons before moving to Bayer 04 Leverkusen in 2004.
He is a member of the German national football team and was called up as a backup squad member in the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
