Halil Altintop
Halil Altıntop (born December 8, 1982 in Gelsenkirchen, West Germany) is a Turkey national football team national association footballer who plays for FC Schalke 04. He is the identical twin brother of footballer Hamit Altıntop. Halil started his professional career in the local German club SG_Wattenscheid_09 along with his brother. As successful performances grabbed the attention of bigger clubs, Halil was transferred to 1. FC Kaiserslautern, and his brother to FC Schalke 04. Halil, who plays as a striker, finished third highest scorer in the Fußball-Bundesliga for the 2005–06 season with 20 goals.
