Probably his best attribute in football is his pace, in which it had sometimes been compared to that of Cristiano Ronaldo, his passing and crossing abilities, and his team effort.

Clemens Fritz (born December 7, 1980 in Erfurt, Thuringia, Germany) is a German footballer (soccer), who plays as a full back (football) for Werder Bremen. Probably his best attribute in football is his pace, in which it had sometimes been compared to that of Cristiano Ronaldo, his passing and crossing abilities, and his team effort.
International Career
Having played for the Germany U18s and U21s, Fritz now plays for the Germany national team. His first appearance for Germany was against Slovakia, where Germany won 4-1.
Club Career
Fritz started his footballing career playing for the Regional Liga club Rot-Weiss Erfurt. In the summer of 2001, he joined 2. Bundesliga club Karlsruher SC and scored 5 goals in 32 games. When he was signed by Bayer 04 Leverkusen in 2003, he was loaned back to Karlsruher to play first team football. He got onto Leverkusen's first team in the 2003/4 season second half after showing his capabilities for their reserve team. Fritz played 14 more first team games for Leverkusen that season, gaining them a UEFA Champions League place. In 2004, he broke his leg during a pre-season game against Rot-Weiss Essen, which meant that he was ruled out from the start of the 2004/5 campaign. He became a first team regular for Leverkusen until he joined Werder Bremen in the summer of 2006.
