Nicolás Gabriel Sánchez (born 4 February, 1986 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentina Defender (football) currently playing for Club Atlético River Plate.
Sánchez came through the ranks of Club Atlético Nueva Chicago, where Nicolás Sánchez made Nicolás Sánchez debut in the Primera Division Argentina during the 2003-04 season. After Nueva Chicago was relegated that season, Sánchez was able to brake through the first team during two seasons in the Primera B Nacional, before returning with the club to the Primera for the 2006-07 season.
After a season which again saw Nueva Chicago relegated, Sánchez earned himself a move to giants Club Atlético River Plate for the start of the 2007-08 season.
