Borja Valero
Borja Valero Iglesias, (fullname pronounced 'Bor-kha Bu-le-ho Ig-less-ea') (born 12 January 1985 in Madrid), is a Spain football (soccer) currently playing for West Bromwich Albion, as a midfielder.

Club career
Grown through the ranks of Real Madrid, Valero made his senior debut against Écija Balompié, Substitute (football) Francisco Javier García at the 60-minute mark in a Copa del Rey 2006/2007 match, on 25 October 2006. He made another appearance in a UEFA Champions League 2006-07 match against FC Dynamo Kyiv, replacing Miguel Ángel Nieto.
In August 2007, Valero signed a 5-year contract with Real Mallorca following his release from Real Madrid. He scored his first La Liga goals in a 7–1 home home win over Recreativo de Huelva, on March 9, 2008. On April 5, Valero added another, against his former team, in a 1–1 home draw.
Valero signed for The Football League 2007-08 West Bromwich Albion on August 22, 2008, for a club record fee of €7 million (£4.7 million). The midfielder agreed a four-year contract with the option of a further year in the clubs' favour. He made his debut four days later in Albion's 3–1 Football League Cup defeat away to Hartlepool United F.C..
