Antonio Notario Caro, Notario (born November 19, 1972 in Mataró, Barcelona), is a Spain football (soccer), currently with Celta de Vigo of the Spanish Segunda División. His position is goalkeeper.
Football career
During his career, Barcelona-born Notario spend most of his career with Andalusia clubs. He represented Granada CF (two stints), Valencia CF, Real Murcia (two stints), UD Almería, Guadix CD and Sevilla FC (where he had his most successful years, being promoted to La Liga in 2001, and retaining first-choice status until La Liga 2005-06, with the arrival of Andrés Palop relegating him to the subs bench. He would, however, appear in 8 contests in the side's UEFA Cup 2005-06).
In 2006-07, Notario achieved once again first level promotion, this time with Real Murcia. He was the starter for most of the season, until new boss Javier Clemente promoted Uruguay Fabián Carini to the starting XI, with Murcia being nonetheless relegated.
In August 2008, Notario joined Segunda División's Real Club Celta de Vigo.
