Nicola Amoruso (born in Cerignola, Foggia, August 29 1974) is an Italy who plays striker for Serie A side Reggina Calcio. His nicknames are Nick piede caldo (Nick Hot Foot) and Nick Dinamite.
Career
He grew up in the Sampdoria youth system, and he debuted in Serie A on December 12, 1993 (Internazionale Football Club-Sampdoria 2-0). He has also played with Fidelis Andria, Calcio Padova, Juventus, Perugia Calcio, S.S.C. Napoli, Como Calcio, Modena F.C., and F.C. Messina Peloro. Has been at Reggina since 2005. At 32 years of age, Nicola Amoruso is still going strong and consistently scoring essential goals for Reggina Calcio, he is a great leader on and off the field. He has been rumoured to be moving to Fiorentina, but he later stated he would prefer to stay in Reggio Calabria.
International career
He was the unused member of Italy national under-21 football team that won 1997 Mediterranean Games.
He also won the 1996 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship.

- Somebody believed that he's Alessandro Del Piero's brother-in-law but it is not true because Sonia Amoruso, Del Piero's wife, is not Nicola's sister like is surname makes imaging. This urban legend has a coincidence also because Alex and Nicola played together in Juventus between the seasons 1996-1999 and 2001-2002.
