Matteo Darmian

Matteo Darmian (born December 2, 1989 in Legnano, Province of Milan) is an Italians Association football who plays as a Defender (association football) for Serie B team Padova Calcio, on loan from Serie A club A.C. Milan.

Club career

On November 28 2006, Matteo Darmian made Matteo Darmian first-team debut in a Coppa Italia game against Brescia Calcio, replacing Kakha Kaladze at half-time. On May 19 2007 Matteo Darmian made Matteo Darmian Serie A debut in a game against Udinese, coming on as a substitute for Giuseppe Favalli. On 17 July 2009 AC Milan loaned the defender to Serie B club Padova Calcio until the end of the Serie B 2009–10

International career

Matteo Darmian took part with the Italy U-19 squad at the 2008 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship.

On March 25, 2009 Matteo Darmian made Matteo Darmian debut with the Italy national under-21 football team squad in a friendly match against Austria national under-21 football team.
