Max Tonetto biography
Max Tonetto (born 18 November 1974 in Trieste) is an Italy Football (soccer) midfielder.
Naturally left footed, he usually plays in the left wing position and sometimes at the left-back position. In 2000 his career came to a shift when he moved to U.S. Lecce, where he where he became team captain in 2003. From 2004 to 2006 he enjoyed great success at Serie A side U.C. Sampdoria, where he got his first taste of European football in the UEFA Cup. After the end of his contract with Sampdoria, he signed a two-year deal with A.S. Roma and is set to get his first experience of UEFA Champion's League football. He has played over 300 Serie A games.
In his AS Roma 2006-07 he showed good performances as a left-back and in fact he was capped for his first international game against the Faroe Islands national football team in a UEFA Euro 2008 Qualifying on June 2, 2007.
