Paul Furlong (born 1 October, 1968) is an England professional footballer. He currently plays for Southend United FC after leaving Luton Town FC at the end of the 2007–08 season following their relegation to League Two
A much-travelled striker, Furlong's career has included stints with Coventry City F.C., Watford F.C., Chelsea F.C., Birmingham City F.C. and Sheffield United F.C., as well as three separate spells with Queens Park Rangers F.C.. He has scored over 150 career goals. He was released by QPR in May 2007. He then joined Luton Town, and when he scored his first goal for his new club he quickly dedicated it to Ray Jones, a QPR team-mate who had died earlier that morning. After Luton Town were relegated, Furlong signed a 1 year deal with Southend United FC on 24 June 2008, taking over the number 29 shirt.
When at Enfield F.C. he was given a cap by the England C Squad.
