Danny Butterfield
Daniel Paul "Danny" Butterfield (born November 21 1979 in Boston, Lincolnshire) is an England football (soccer) who plays for Crystal Palace F.C. in Football League Championship. He wears the number 20 shirt and is a primarily utilised as a right back for Palace. However, Danny originally started out as a central midfielder for Palace and has been known to play on the right of midfield as well.

However, Danny originally started out as a central midfielder for Palace and has been known to play on the right of midfield as well.
Danny Butterfield was educated at Boston Grammar School in Boston, Lincolnshire. He arrived at Crystal Palace in 2002 on a free transfer from Grimsby Town F.C.. He played regularly for the next two seasons, however, when Palace were promoted he found it hard to maintain his place in the first team for the 2004/5 and 2005/6 seasons due to the form of Emmerson Boyce and injuries.
He has now reestabilished himself in the first team after recovering from a long-term series of injuries.
