Ákos Buzsáky biography

Ákos Buzsáky (born May 7, 1982) is a Hungary Football (soccer) who plays as a midfielder. He currently plays for England side Queens Park Rangers F.C.. Akos has the honour of playing under the legendary Q.P.R number 10 shirt.

Club career

Buzsáky started his career at RTK (Rakosmenti Torna Klub) after that he continued MTK Hungária FC, and joined FC Porto under José Mourinho for Pound sterling400,000 in July 2002. He was later loaned out to Portuguese Superliga side Academica de Coimbra in 2003-04. He had been playing for Porto's 'B' side in the Portugal third division prior to signing for English side Plymouth Argyle F.C..

Buzsáky joined Plymouth on loan until the end of the 2004-05 in English football season after the former Hungarian Under-21 international captain impressed manager Bobby Williamson during a behind-closed-doors friendly against Torquay United F.C.. On the last day of his loan spell with Argyle, fans held up paper signs that read "Mr Chairman sign Akos now!" and "Buy Akos, Buy Akos!". This led to the board spending around £225,000 to make his move permanent, offering him a three-year contract.

He was a first team regular for Plymouth, and his form resulted in him being linked with West Bromwich Albion F.C. and Bolton Wanderers F.C.. After scoring 3 goals in the month, he was named one of the players of the month by the ITV programme "The Championship" for January 2007.

In October 2007 Buzsáky informed Plymouth he would not sign a new contract when his ran out in the summer. He was subsequently loaned to Queens Park Rangers F.C., and the move was made permanent on January 2 2008 for an undisclosed fee (believed to be £500,000). Buzsaky signed a 2 1/2 year Contract.
Akos Buzsaky is fast becoming a QPR legend and his performances this season have won significant praise from his manager and fans alike

On 2nd January 2008, QPR announced that they had signed Akos permanently, with his contract running until the summer of 2010, with great relief for the fans.
