Osei Sankofa
Osei Omari Kwende Sankofa (born 19 March 1985 in London, England) is an England Football (soccer), currently playing for Southend United F.C.. He plays as a defender (football) who can play anywhere across the backline. He is of Ghana descent. Sankofa attended Graveney School until the age of 16.

Charlton Athletic
Sankofa made his Charlton Athletic debut in the 4-1 defeat to Manchester United F.C. in the 2002-03 in English football season. The next season he was an unused substitute on more than one occasion. He went on loan at Bristol City F.C.. On November 11, 2005 he was sent off against Swindon Town F.C. for a professional foul on Hameur Bouazza.
He has been cap (sport) for England at the under-16, under-18 and under-19 levels.
Sankofa was sent off again whilst playing against Arsenal F.C. on January 2 2007 for a professional foul on Robin Van Persie. He subsequently got the initial one match ban extended by one match for what the FA deemed to be a "frivolous" appeal. On June 8 2007 he signed a new one year contract with Charlton.
In January 2008, Sankofa was loaned out to Brentford F.C. on a one month deal, which was later extended until the end of the season.
In May 2008, Sankofa was released by Charlton.
Southend United
On June 23 2008 Sankofa joined Southend United F.C. on a free transfer.
