Mark Staunton
Mark Staunton (born January 30, 1989 in Alexandria, West Dunbartonshire) is a Scotland Football (soccer) who currently plays as a Defender (football) for Ayr United F.C.. Staunton is on loan from Falkirk F.C. for a month.

Career
Staunton began his career with Celtic F.C., playing in the under-19 youth team. He left Celtic to join Charlton Athletic F.C. in July 2006, with the London club - who paid £100,000 - having kept tabs on him for nearly a year previously. Staunton left Charlton to join Falkirk in August 2007 but was sent to Berwick Rangers F.C. on loan for the rest of the season in December 2007, with Falkirk manager John Hughes admitting he was "concerned about his lack of games."
Staunton has been an unused member of Scotland national under-19 football team squad, previously playing at national under-16 and under-17 level.
