Santiago Ezquerro

Santiago Ezquerro Marín (born December 14, 1976 in Calahorra, La Rioja (autonomous community), Spain) is a Spain footballer, who is currently free to leave FC Barcelona. He has previously played for CA Osasuna (1994-96), Atlético Madrid (1996-98), RCD Mallorca (1998) and Athletic Bilbao (1999-2005). At Athletic he established himself as one of the most promising forwards in La Liga, also making one appearance for Spain national football team. His form in the 2004/05 season led to him signing for FC Barcelona in a period of three + one years, in a Free transfer (football). However, he was not able to establish himself in the first team, despite winning consecutive 'Swan d'Ors' from the Spanish Press Association in November/December 2006.

Santiago Ezquerro Marín (born December 14, 1976 in Calahorra, La Rioja (autonomous community), Spain) is a Spain footballer, who is currently free to leave FC Barcelona. He has previously played for CA Osasuna (1994-96), Atlético Madrid (1996-98), RCD Mallorca (1998) and Athletic Bilbao (1999-2005). Although some sources say that Ezquerro might sign with his old club Athletic Bilbao Ezquerro featured in Barca's pre-season tour of Scotland at the end of July 2007. He has also been linked with a move to Scottish champions Celtic F.C., Everton F.C., Bolton Wanderers F.C. and CA Osasuna.

While Ezquerro is free to leave the Nou Camp, he is still a member of the Barcelona squad due to being unable to find an acceptable deal elsewhere.
