Marco Haber

Career

Marco Haber played in its youth years in the TV Kindenheim and VfR Frankenthal before he moved to 1. FC Kaiserslautern. There he did his debut at the age of 18 in the Bundesliga and was at 19 years of age already a regular player when the FCK became 1991 German champions. He left 1995 the Red Devils for whom he challenged 139 national league games, and he moved to the FCK's league competitors VfB Stuttgart where he was able to win the German Cup 1997. In the same year, he was challenged for Germany national football team for two games against Belgium national football team (2:1) and South Africa national football team (0:0). As a player of VfB, he played with his team in the 1998 Cup Winners' Cup Final but his team lost 1-0.

After three years in the VfB, he changed club and he moved to UD Las Palmas before he joined a year late national league climbers SpVgg Unterhaching and once again 2 years was a regular player. In 2001 he signed for Hansa Rostock, and played for them for one year, however was not able to prevail there. Since then Marco Haber in the First League of Cyprus has played, first of all in Omonia Nicosia, for two years, winning once the championship and the Cyprus Super Cup and since 2004 in Anorthosis Famagusta where he again won the championship. After two years in Anorthosis, he signed for 2006/07 for Nea Salamis. In the moment he plays for FSV Oggersheim in the third Division.
