Club Career
Werder Bremen
The midfielder began his football career at SR Colmar. From RC Strasbourg, he moved to SV Werder Bremen's second team in 2005. Due to his good performances in the second team, Bischoff trained with Bremen's first team several times.
His debut game came in the UEFA Cup against Celta de Vigo, when he replaced the Brazilian Diego Ribas da Cunha in the 74th minute. He decided to leave SV Werder Bremen on July 1, 2008 after rejecting a contract extension to look for a new challenge. After announcing this he made a statement in which he said that his transfer to Arsenal F.C. was imminent.
Arsenal
It was confirmed on July 30, 2008 by Arsenal F.C that Amaury had signed for the club and would wear squad No 28. Wenger said he knew the signing was a "gamble on talent" due to the midfielder's injury record. Bischoff made his debut in an Arsenal shirt on October 6, 2008 in a Arsenal F.C. Reserves match against Stoke City.
National team
Amaury Bischoff has played for France national football team's U-18 team. On May 14 2007 he elected to train with Portugal national football team's U-20 team, and has since appeared for the Portugal national under-21 football team.
