Sofiane Feghouli (born December 26, 1989 in Levallois-Perret) is a France Football (soccer) midfielder of Algerian origin who currently plays for Grenoble Foot 38 in France's Ligue 1.

Sofiane Feghouli (born December 26, 1989 in Levallois-Perret) is a France Football (soccer) midfielder of Algerian origin who currently plays for Grenoble Foot 38 in France's Ligue 1.
Career
Sofiane Feghouli began his career with Grenoble Foot 38. During the Ligue 2 season 2006/2007 season, he made three Ligue 2 appearances for Grenoble.
During the summer transfer window of 2007, Feghouli was interesting top European clubs such as AFC Ajax, FC Barcelona, Chelsea F.C., Liverpool F.C., A.C. Milan and Valencia CF.
Feghouli was strongly linked with Liverpool, but the move never materialized. However, rumours of an impending move to the English Premier League have persisted, with Chelsea and Everton FC also entering in the picture.
International career
During the 2006-07 season, he was called up to the France national football team U-17 squad on three occasions but did not play in a single match.
