Yoan Gouffran
Yoan Gouffran (born May 25, 1986 in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, Paris, France) is a France football (soccer) of Guadeloupean descent, currently playing for FC Girondins de Bordeaux. Gouffran plays as a striker and is reknowned for his pace and ability to finish with either foot.

=Career=
On May 20, 2007, Gouffran was awarded French Ligue 2 Player of the Season after a successful season with SM Caen which saw the club promoted to the Ligue 1.
The 21-year-old was named Ligue 2 Player of the Year as he helped Caen seal promotion to the Ligue 1 of France football.
Bordeaux
After achieving success with Caen during the 07-08 Ligue 1 season, it was suspected Yoan would make a move elsewhere. After constant rumors linking him primarily with Arsenal F.C., including rumors of him signing a pre-contract agreement with the England club, Gouffran opted to stay in Ligue 1 signing a four-year contract with FC Girondins de Bordeaux. The transfer fee was priced at €6.5 million. He officially join the club on June 30, 2008. His signing pairs him up with France national under-21 football team teammate Yoann Gourcuff who is on loan at Bordeaux from A.C. Milan for the entire season.
=International Career=
Gouffran is a France national under-21 football team international. He took part in the UEFA U-21 Championship 2006 in Portugal, where he made four appearances and scored one goal. So far, he has made 22 appearances with the U-21's scoring 3 goals. He has yet to be called up to the France national football team.
