Mamadou Sakho (born 13 February 1990 in Paris) is a France football (soccer) defender (football) of Senegalese descent who currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain FC.
Career
Mamadou Sakho has been at Paris Saint Germain since he was 11 years old. Sakho was originally a striker, but due to PSG's youth team having fewer defenders than strikers he was moved into a more defensive role. He can also operate at Left_back Full_back, as well as a Left_back Wingback back.
He made his first-team and Ligue 1 debut on October 20, 2007 against Valenciennes FC.On that day, Sakho also Captain (football).He became the youngest ever captain of Paris Saint Germain and also the youngest player ever to captain a side in the French Ligue 1, at 17 years and 8 months. In the following match, against Olympique Lyonnais, he was named captain again.
International career
He was also the French U-17 team captain at 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup which was held at South Korea and led France into the quarterfinals where they lost to Spain on penalties.
