Luke Joyce
Luke James Joyce (born on July 9, 1987 in Bolton) is a young central midfield football (soccer) player, He currently plays for Carlisle United F.C. in the Football League One. Joyce was signed from Wigan Athletic F.C. after a successful work experience period. He played one game for Wigan Athletic the FA Cup replay win against Leeds United. He joined Carlisle United on a permanent basis in July 2006 and made his league début for Carlsile as a 85th minuite Substitute (football) against Cheltenham Town F.C. on September 3, 2006. He scored his first League goal for the Brunton Park club was in the 5-0 victory against Gillingham F.C.. Despite impressing for Carlisle, current manager John Ward has been reluctant to play Joyce.
