Fraizer Campbell biography
Fraizer Campbell (born September 13, 1987) is an English people football (soccer). He is a striker, and he joined Manchester United F.C. as a junior on the July 1, 2004.
During 2006, Campbell began playing for Manchester United's reserves, and helped them achieve a reserve double, also scoring to help defeat Tottenham Hotspur in the final of the reserves leagues. He made his senior debut for the club as a substitute in Roy Keane's testimonial match on May 9, 2006.
During the 2006/07 pre-season, Campbell scored his first goal for the first team after coming on as a substitute for Wayne Rooney against Macclesfield Town. At the beginning of the 2006/07 football season, he was sent to gain professional experience at Royal Antwerp FC, where his goal-scoring success resulted in the fans giving him the nickname "Super Campbell". On August 8, 2007, Campbell scored a clever volley against Glentoran for Manchester United in a first-team pre-season friendly.
For the Manchester derby on August 19, 2007 Campbell was named on the bench. He came on in the 73rd minute for Michael Carrick to make his Manchester United debut, a game which Manchester City F.C. won 1-0 at the City of Manchester Stadium.
