- Lee A. Martin (born 5 February 1968 in Hyde), former Manchester United F.C. football (soccer) and scorer of the winning goal in the 1990 FA Cup final replay.
- Lee B. Martin (born in Huddersfield in 1968), former Huddersfield Town F.C. and Rochdale F.C. footballer. He is presently physiotherapist/goalkeeping coach at Huddersfield Town.
