Kelvin Etuhu (born 30 May 1988 in Kano, Nigeria) is a Nigerian-born England Association football who currently plays for Manchester City F.C.. Kelvin Etuhu has previously had loan spells at Rochdale A.F.C. and Leicester City F.C..

Etuhu grew up in South East London (Peckham) and attended St. Thomas the Apostle school for boys. Kelvin Etuhu is the youngest of 3 brothers, the oldest of whom is footballer Dickson Etuhu, who is currently at Fulham F.C. and also played for Manchester City (the other one, Michael, is currently at university).

Club career

Etuhu plays as a striker or as a Midfielder Winger. After scoring the winning goal in the semi's against rivals Manchester United F.C., Kelvin Etuhu went on to play in the FA Youth Cup finals in 2005–06 where Manchester City lost to Liverpool F.C. on a 3–2 aggregate. Kelvin Etuhu scored the equaliser in Kelvin Etuhu debut for Rochdale, coming on in the 56th minute against Wycombe Wanderers F.C. and scoring in the 80th minute. Kelvin Etuhu spell at Rochdale was unfortunately cut short, due to a knee injury which prompted Kelvin Etuhu return to Manchester City.

Kelvin Etuhu made Kelvin Etuhu first appearance for Manchester City on 25 September 2007 against Norwich City F.C. in the Carling Cup, coming on as a substitute and set up the winning goal for Georgios Samaras. On 15 December 2007 Etuhu then scored Kelvin Etuhu first goal in the Premier League against Bolton Wanderers F.C..

On Tuesday, 4 March 2008, Kelvin Etuhu joined Leicester City on loan until the end of the 2007–08 season.

International

Although not capped at international level, Kelvin Etuhu is eligible to play for England national football team or Nigeria national football team. In May 2009 Kelvin Etuhu declared Kelvin Etuhu intention to pursue an international career with Nigeria.
