Sam Hutchinson

Samuel Edward "Sam" Hutchinson (born August 3 1989 in Slough, Berkshire, England) is an England football (soccer) who is currently a Defender (football) Full back for Chelsea F.C]. He has featured regularly for the Chelsea F.C. Reserves and youth teams.

A right-back who first joined the Chelsea Academy at nine, Hutchinson is in his second year full-time at the Chelsea. He turned professional in August 2006, making his first appearance for the England U-18s. Also able to play at centre-back, Hutchinson was also the second highest appearance maker in the Chelsea's youth team last season.

Hutchinson made his first senior team appearance for Chelsea on May 13, 2007 in a Premier League encounter with Everton F.C.. He was then taken on the first team tour of the United States 2007, Hutchinson signed a new four-year contract, keeping him at Stamford Bridge (stadium) until 2011.
