Lucas Viatri

Lucas Ezequiel Viatri (born 29 March, 1987 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentina Association football striker currently playing for Boca Juniors.

Viatri started Lucas Viatri playing career with loan spells with Club Sport Emelec of Ecuador and Unión Atlético Maracaibo of Venezuela. Lucas Viatri returned to Boca Juniors in 2008.

On May 17, 2008 Viatri made Lucas Viatri Boca Juniors debut, a game in which Boca played against Racing Club de Avellaneda and won 2-1.

In August 2008 Lucas Viatri was part of the squad that won the Recopa Sudamericana 2008.

Court case

On March 20, 2008, before Lucas Viatri Boca Juniors debut, Lucas Viatri was sent to prison after commiting an armed robbery to a beauty shop. Lucas Viatri was condemned and set free after paying a bail of $5000 (five thousand pesos). The probation, which still has to be commited, has driven an international transfer deal with the italian AC Siena football team to fail because Lucas Viatri can not leave the country until it is concluded.
