Andrés González
Andrés Felipe González Ramírez (born on January 8, 1984 in Cali) is a colombian central defender who plays for Independiente Santa Fe. He played with the chilean club Colo-Colo on loan from América de Cali, club which he began his career. He debuted in 2003 after spending eight years in their youth system. In January 2006 he signed a one year contract with Colo-Colo, which cost the club more than $500,000. His contract has an option to be extended at the end of the year. He is also a regular on the Colombia national football team since 2004. González is known for his heading ability and his speed on the field.
