Daniel Bozhkov
Daniel Bozhkov (born April 27, 1983) is a Bulgarian versatile defensive footballer currently playing for PFC Botev Plovdiv. He comes directly from Botev`s Youth Academy and still plays mainly for the youth team. His height is 1,74m and his weight is 70kg. Daniel usually plays as left back but when called upon he is used as a center back or a defensive midlefiedler. In the matches Bozhkov is a very hot-tempered and often geting red cards.

Career
Bozhkov has been raised in Botev Plovdiv's youth teams and now is the team's captain. He made his official debut in A PFG in a match against Slavia Sofia on 30 August 2002. Bozhkov played for 90 minutes. The result of the match was a 1:4 loss for Botev.

In 2005 and 2006, while Hristo Stoichkov was manager of the Bulgaria national football team, Bozhkov played in 3 matches. Daniel made his official debut for Bulgaria national football team in a match against Georgia national football team on 12 November 2005. He played for 90 minutes. The result of the match was a 6:2 win for Bulgaria.
