Valeri Domovchiyski
Valeri Domovchiyski (born 10 May 1986) is a Bulgarian football (soccer). He is also a member of the Bulgarian national under-21 team.

Valeri Domovchiyski (born 10 May 1986) is a Bulgarian football (soccer). He is also a member of the Bulgarian national under-21 team.
Born in Plovdiv, Domovchiyski grew up in Rakovski (town) and played for Maritsa Plovdiv as a child before moving to Levski Sofia's youth academy. He had his major breakthrough in A PFG during the 2004-05 season and has since then earned himelf the place of a first-choice striker for the team despite his young age. He has remarkable technical and scoring skills and has attracted the attention of top European clubs since the age of 20.
Early Life and Career
His debut for the U-21 Bulgarian national team was in a match against Sweden. Despite the fact that his team lost 2-1, he had made a very impressive performance. He has played for Levski Sofia since 2004-2005 season and replaced Georgi Chilikov in the starting lineup. He had scored some important goals for Levski in the European Tournaments, for example his goal against CSKA Moscow in the UEFA Cup and Chievo Verona in the 3rd qualifiing round of the Champions League. This goal helped Levski to become the first Bulgarian team in the group stage of the Champions League. In the European Tournaments he has played 19 games and scored 11 goals (7 matches and 4 goals for Champions League and 12 matches and 7 goals for UEFA Cup). He has been linked to Newcastle United and is admired by Kevin Keegan, who is sure to make an offer to bring him to St James Park in the summer.
2008
On 02 January 2008 the English Premier League team Blackburn Rovers F.C. invited Domovchiyski for a five-day trial period. On 05 January 2008 it was announced that terms have been agreed between Blackburn Rovers F.C. and Levski Sofia for the purchase of the player and that only personal terms remain for the transfer to go forward.
On 07 January 2008 Domovchiyski joined his first training session with Blackburn Rovers. The Team Manager Mark Hughes invited the young blue talent to join the team for a five-day trial and put through his paces with a rigorous medical expert.
On 11 January 2008 Blackburn Rovers F.C. invited Valeri for another week long trial. The trial shall go ahead after Blackburn Rovers boss Mark Hughes has hinted he will reject Newcastle United if they come calling for his services.
On the 21st January 2008, Blackburn had a loan deal turned down for Domovchiyski.
Anyway on 29 January 2008 PFC Levski striker Valeri Domovchiyski has passed successfully his medical check-up at and will play for the German Bundesliga team until 30 June 2008 as a loaned player.
On 17 May 2008 Domovchiyski scored his first goal for Hertha Berlin against Bayern Munich. Hertha lost with 4:1, but Domovchiyski became the last player who scores a goal of Oliver Kahn.
He was officially bought by Hertha on 22 May 2008. The transfer fee was 1 600 000 euros.
Honours
Valeri Domovchiyski has won the Bulgarian Championship twice so far with Levski, during the 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 seasons. He has also won two Bulgarian Cups in the 2004-2005 and 2006-2007 seasons, again with Levski. He has also won the Bulgarian Supercup in 2005 and 2007 with Levski.
