International career
He debuted for Bulgaria national football team on 26 March 2008 against Finland national football team. The result of the match was 2:1 with a win for Bulgaria.
Playing style
Sarmov is offensive midfielder, but he also is used as a defensive one. He has a solid shot. He often makes long shots by air. Georgi is the best player, when the final minutes are counting down, and your team is losing. Then Georgi becomes powerful, and scores resolutely goals.
