Darío Espínola (born September 15 1973 in Posadas, Misiones Province) is an Argentina football (soccer) defender currently playing for Arsenal de Sarandí.

Darío Espínola (born September 15 1973 in Posadas, Misiones Province) is an Argentina football (soccer) defender currently playing for Arsenal de Sarandí.
Espínola started his playing career in 1992 with Club Atlético Argentino de Quilmes. In 1993 he joined Arsenal de Sarandí where he has remained ever since, making him one of the clubs longest serving players and the player with the 2nd most appearances in the history of the club. One of the highlights of his career was the clubs promotion to the Primera División Argentina in 2002. He is nicknamed "Cafu" after the famous Brazilian rightback.
