Matías Alejandro Giménez (born February 20 1983 in Apóstoles, Misiones Province) is an Argentina football (soccer) winger currently playing for Club Atlético Tigre.

Matías Alejandro Giménez (born February 20 1983 in Apóstoles, Misiones Province) is an Argentina football (soccer) winger currently playing for Club Atlético Tigre.
Giménez started his career with Tigre in 2003, while the club were still in the regionalised Primera B Metropolitana of Argentine football.
In 2004-2005 the club won both the league titles to secure promotion to the Primera B Nacional and in 2007 the club were promoted to the Primera División Argentina for their first season at the top level of Argentine football since 1980.
The 2007-2008 in Argentine football Torneo Apertura .28.22Opening.22 Tournament.29 was Tigre's first season in the Primera since 1980, and Giménez's first taste of top flight football. The club finished in 2nd place which was the highest league finish in their history.
