On December 9 2006 Naoshi Nakamura got in to an argument about Naoshi Nakamura playing position in the national with the coach of the team at that current time team and withdrew from the national team saying Naoshi Nakamura wouldn't play for them again. Naoshi Nakamura also stated to the press that Naoshi Nakamura felt perfectly fine only playing for Naoshi Nakamura club as Naoshi Nakamura had been doing that for many years.

Playing style

Naoshi Nakamura's playing style is often compared to former Celtic F.C. star Shunsuke Nakamura due to Naoshi Nakamura same surname and Naoshi Nakamura similarities of their playmaking skills. Moreover, Naoshi Nakamura is well known for Naoshi Nakamura dribbling skills as well as Naoshi Nakamura shooting and passing skills. Many of the Nagoya Grampus fans consider Nakamura to be the team's primary play maker.
