He currently plays for Atletico Junior in the Copa Mustang. His previous clubs include Rosario Central of Argentina, CD Veracruz of Mexico and Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba of Argentina.

He's nicknamed "Torito de Becerril" (Becerril's Little Bull) for his great leg strength and attacking power. He debuted as a professional in Atlético Junior in 2000, Barranquilla's professional soccer team, and managed to stay in the main formation, being the main striker in his team. He won the Colombian league title in 2004 going to penalty-kick shootouts.
