Andy Tod (born 4 November 1971 in Dunfermline) is a Scotland professional association football who plays for Scottish Football League (Scottish Football League Second Division) club Raith Rovers F.C..
Career
Tod, a versatile player who can play in defender (football) or striker, started his career at Dunfermline Athletic F.C. in 1992. He departed in 2001 to join Bradford City A.F.C. for £100,000 after an initial loan spell saw him score four goals in 12 league games, including a double against Wimbledon F.C. in October 2001.
He fell out of favour at Bradford after joining permanently, however, and returned to Scotland with loan spells at Hearts F.C. and Dundee United F.C. before returning permanently with former club Dunfermline Athletic in 2003. During January 2007, the fans' hero was told that he was no longer needed at East End Park by manager Stephen Kenny (football).
On 11 July 2007, Tod moved to Dunfermline Athletic F.C.'s Fife rivals Raith Rovers F.C. on a free transfer.
