Darren Barr
Darren Barr (born 17 March 1985 in Glasgow) is a Scotland professional football (soccer) currently playing for Scottish Premier League club Falkirk F.C.. He is also team captain (football).

Darren Barr (born 17 March 1985 in Glasgow) is a Scotland professional football (soccer) currently playing for Scottish Premier League club Falkirk F.C.. He is also team captain (football).
Barr, a Defender (football), previously had a loan spell with Forfar Athletic F.C. during 2005-06 in Scottish football. He won his first personal award in December 2006 when he was crowned the SPL Young Player of the Month. In April 2008 he earned the SPL's Player of the Month award.
Barr's discipline has caused him problems. He was sent off twice In the 2007–08 season. The first was in a game against Hibernian F.C. for punching the ball on the ground and the second was against Celtic F.C. for receiving a second yellow card. He also received a red card against Heart of Midlothian F.C. in 2006-07 in Scottish football for squaring up to Hearts' Andrius Velicka, but the decision was overturned on appeal and Barr was instead credited with a yellow card.
International career
Barr earned his first cap (sport) for Scotland national football team in a 0–0 friendly draw against Northern Ireland national football team at Hampden Park on August 20 2008. becoming the first Falkirk player to play for Scotland since John White (Scottish footballer) in 1959.
He retained his place and was named in George Burley squad for Scotland's World Cup qualifying matches against Republic of Macedonia national football team and Iceland national football team.
Barr had already featured in the Scotland Scotland B national football team, playing in a 2–2 draw with Finland in February 2007,
