Frazer Wright biography
Frazer Wright (born 23 December 1979 in East Kilbride) is a Scotland professional football (soccer) currently playing for Scottish Premier League club Kilmarnock F.C..
After starting his career with semi-professional club Stranraer F.C., he joined Kilmarnock in June 2005 on a free transfer (soccer). He quickly established himself in the Kilmarnock team, making 28 appearances in his first season at Rugby Park.
He scored his first Kilmarnock goal in a 2-2 draw with Rangers F.C. in August 2006 and netted again the following month with an extra time free-kick in a 2-1 win against Livingston F.C. in the Scottish League Cup. He was on target again in the CIS Cup in November 2006, scoring twice in a 3-2 win over Motherwell F.C. in the quarter-finals.
A former postman, Wright commands hero status with the Kilmarnock working-class fanbase. This is evidenced by their chant "Frazer Wright - he used to be a postman but he's all right now".
