Gordon Greer (born 14 December 1980 in Glasgow) is a Scotland professional football (soccer) currently playing for Doncaster Rovers F.C..
Greer began his professional career with Clyde F.C. where he played only 33 games before securing a £250,000 move to England FA Premier League club Blackburn Rovers F.C.. He scored on his Blackburn debut against European giants FC Barcelona and played one other match for the Lancashire club, in the Football League Cup.
Greer had a spell on loan with Stockport County F.C. before returning to Scotland to play for Scottish Premier League club Kilmarnock F.C.. He has also received international recognition, having been cap (football) for Scotland B national football team against Poland national football team in December 2005. and against Republic of Ireland national football team in November 2006.
In July 2007, Greer signed for Doncaster Rovers after he rejected a new contract offer from Kilmarnock.
His first season at Doncaster was one blighted by several injuries. Greer was restricted to only 6 appearances in 2007/8. His only goal for Rovers came in August 2007 against AFC Bournemouth at the Keepmoat Stadium, a towering header from a corner.
