Jamie Adams biography
Jamie Adams (born 26 August 1987, in Stranraer) is a Scotland professional Soccer (football) player, who currently plays for Queen of the South and is on loan from Scottish Premier League side Kilmarnock F.C..
A member of the Scotland national football team at the 2006 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship, the midfielder was loaned to Queen of the South F.C. as part of a deal in which Kilmarnock signed Queens Willie Gibson in January 2007. While with Queen of the South he was involved in a controversial event, which later resulted in the Dumfries club being fined by the Scottish Football Association. Adams appeared in two Scottish Cup ties for Queens when "cup-tied" (ie. ineligible), having already been listed as a substitute for Kilmarnock in their 3rd round defeat by Greenock Morton F.C.. The resultant SFA fine was reported to be £20,000.
Adams re-joined Queen of the South in the summer of 2007 on a six-month loan spell.
