Career
Domestic
Campbell broke into the first team under the management of John Collins (footballer) and he made his debut on 15 January 2007 in a 2–0 victory against Kilmarnock F.C.. He was loaned out to in September 2008. He returned to Easter Road, having made no first team appearances but chalking up one goal from a substitute appearance.
International
He earned international recognition for Scotland national under-20 football team against Canada U-20 men's national soccer team on 27 March 2007, scoring both goals in a 2–1 victory.
Campbell was subsequently selected for the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada. He scored the only goal for Scotland in a 3–1 loss to Japan national football team in Victoria, British Columbia on July 1 2007.
