2007-08

Vennegoor of Hesselink started 2007–08 Scottish Premier League well, scoring five goals in Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink first six league matches. 2008-09

The 2008-09 season started slowly for Vennegoor of Hesselink. Rapid Vienna

On 30 August 2010, Vennegoor of Hesselink joined SK Rapid Wien as a free agent on a 2 year deal after Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink contract expired with Hull City. Vennegoor of Hesselink said on the club's official website "I received several interesting offers from European clubs. However, Rapid's offer gave me and my family the best feeling. This club and this city made it an easy decision for me to join Rapid. I'm looking forward to the next chapter in my career".

On 21 October 2010, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink scored the first goal to help Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink side to a 2:0 away win against Bulgarian outfit CSKA Sofia in a UEFA Europa League match, snapping a two-game losing streak for the team from Vienna in the tournament in question.

PSV

On October 4, 2011, it was announced that Vennegoor of Hesselink had joined PSV Eindhoven to train with the first team squad. Early November, it was rumoured that Vennegoor of Hesselink would return to the PSV squad on a second spell..
On November 3rd, 2011, it was confirmed that Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink signed with PSV Eindhoven until the end of the season.

International career

Vennegoor of Hesselink is a squad regular for the Netherlands national football team. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink made Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink international debut on 11 October 2000 in Rotterdam in the Netherlands' 2–0 World Cup qualifier defeat against Portugal national football team, but did not score Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink first international goal until five years later, in a friendly match against Thailand national football team on 6 June 2007. Despite Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink fabulous form in Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink first season at PSV Eindhoven, Vennegoor of Hesselink missed UEFA Euro 2004, but was included in the Dutch squads to play at the 2006 FIFA World Cup, where Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink made a late appearance as a substitute in the second-round game against Portugal national football team, and at UEFA Euro 2008, where Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink appeared against Romania national football team.
