Mattias Asper (born March 20, 1974 in Sölvesborg) is a Sweden soccer goalkeeper currently playing for Mjällby AIF. He has played 2 international matches for the Sweden national football team, and was a squad player for the 2000 European Football Championship.
Asper was a regular for Mjällby AIF for four years before joining Allsvenskan team AIK Fotboll in 1998. His performances attracted interest from Real Sociedad, who bought him for the 2000-01 season. However, he was not a success there, and eventually returned to Sweden and Malmö FF in 2002.
Asper won the Swedish championship 2 times, with AIK in 1999 and Malmö in 2004. On July 2, 2007, it was announced he had signed a club with Swedish top-tier team Brommapojkarna.On November 28, Asper signed on a return to old club Mjällby.
