Lance Davids biography
Lance Davids (born 11 April, 1985) is a association football player from South Africa. He is a midfielder (football) and represents Djurgårdens IF Fotboll from Stockholm, Sweden.
He came to the club from TSV 1860 München in Germany at the start of the 2006 season, but had a tough time establishing himself as a regular starter in the beginning of the season. However, as the season went on, Davids became a more and more regular name in the Djurgårdens IF Fotboll starting line-up. During the Djurgårdens IF season 2007, Davids played on the right wing as a midfielder or as a defender.
In December 2007, he visited two English Premier League clubs, Blackburn Rovers F.C. and Newcastle United for a trial, but no transfer was made during the 2007-08 transfer window.
He has won 22 caps for South Africa's U-23 team.
